In collaboration with Noa van den Brink (TU Delft), Samantha Orozco Carvallo (Erasmus Medical Centre), and Valentijn Visch (TU Delft), I co-hosted a workshop on "Articulating and Answering Needs for Inclusive Healthcare" at the DRIVE Festival during Dutch Design Week 2023. A group of researchers and practitioners in heathcare and design participated in the workshop, and we explored the following questions collectively:
- How to understand the needs and values of underserved populations in society?
- How to meet these needs by changing the healthcare systems from care consumption to motivation for self-care?
- How can AI meaningfully support this transition?
With a focus on AI-driven transitions in healthcare, I led discussions around patient values and autonomy in leverage AI for care.
